Course Information
The goal of the FRC Emergency First Aid Course 4h® is to increase the willingness and confidence to help in life-threatening situations.
This is a certified course. Upon completion, participants receive the FRC First Aid Certificate, which is valid for three years.
This course also works as a refresher course and can be used once to extend the validity of the FRC First Aid Course EA 1® or FRC First Aid Course EA 2® certificate by an additional three years.
The course is suitable for learning and reinforcing the most essential emergency first aid skills in low-risk environments.
The course can be completed either as in-person training or as a webinar led by a certified first aid instructor.
Course Content
● Responding in an emergency situation
● Recognizing unconsciousness and providing aid
● CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
● First aid for a choking person
● Controlling major limb bleeding
● Treating shock
● Accident prevention
● Readiness and preparedness
● Group-specific emphasis when necessary
