Completing occupational safety card training
The multi-modal implementation of the TTK Occupational Safety Card consists of two parts:
- Online training: You can complete the online training at any time.
- Remote live training: A live part to be completed remotely, the dates of which can be found in our training calendar.
Please note:
- The remote live part must be completed within 21 days of completing the online training.
- If you want to receive Traficom’s professional qualification mark from the course, you must complete both parts within 48 hours of each other.
Renewal: If you are renewing your occupational safety card, you do not need to participate in the online training – it is enough to complete the remote live training.

Where is the card required?
- Construction industry (including infrastructure): The card is practically mandatory on construction sites.
- Industry (metal, forest, chemical industries): Required especially in factory areas and production plants.
- Shipbuilding industry: Requirement for all shipyard workers.
- Transport and logistics: Necessary in ports and terminals.
- Energy production: The card is strongly recommended or mandatory in power plants.
- Public sector: Used in technical work and maintenance.
- Service industries (property maintenance, cleaning, security services): Widely used due to customer demand.
What is the card requirement based on?
