The aim of the training is to equip drivers with the skills to act safely at the scene of an accident, ensuring both their own safety and that of other road users. The training places particular emphasis on how drivers can effectively warn other road users at the scene of an accident and prevent further accidents. The aim is for drivers to be able to identify the risks of an accident situation and respond to them appropriately.
The training covers the importance of first aid skills in an accident situation. Drivers learn to recognise different types of injuries and provide the necessary first aid to the injured. Particular emphasis is placed on giving the correct instructions in situations where rescue and first aid can be crucial in saving lives. Through this training, drivers gain confidence in how to act in a crisis situation and how their own actions can support rescue efforts and ensure rapid access to help.
Upon completion, you will receive a professional qualification certificate from Traficom and a first-aid certificate from the Centre for Continuing Education.
The training is delivered live (remotely) under the guidance of a trainer.
