Who Is This Training For?
The Hot Work Certificate training is required for anyone carrying out tasks that involve open flames, sparks, or intense heat and pose a fire risk. This includes welders, flame and arc cutters, construction and maintenance professionals, and those using equipment such as gas torches or heat guns.
Completing the training ensures that participants:
- Understand the risks associated with hot work
- Know how to work safely in hot work environments
- Can respond effectively in the event of an accident
The certificate is valid for 5 years and is mandatory on many worksites and industrial projects. After successful completion, participants receive an official Hot Work Certificate recognized by SPEK (The Finnish National Rescue Association).
