Target audience and content of the training

This training course is specifically designed for bus drivers and other professionals working in passenger transport. The training comprehensively covers the specific characteristics of passenger transport, customer service situations and the basics of vehicle technology, which every driver must master in today’s traffic. The aim is to enhance drivers’ understanding of safe vehicle handling, anticipatory driving and passenger safety, including in challenging and exceptional situations.

Compulsory vocational training

The training is compulsory for anyone wishing to maintain their professional qualifications, and it meets the requirements for compulsory subjects as defined by Traficom. This means that participation in the training is officially recorded in the professional qualifications register and counts towards the required number of continuing professional development days.

Course objectives

This is not merely a formality – the aim of the training is to develop drivers’ professional skills and driving ability, improve road safety, and promote efficient and customer-focused operations in all circumstances. Particular attention is paid to practical learning and managing problem situations, so that drivers are able to operate independently and responsibly even under pressure.
